Gedong Putih Community Center is Bandung's newest destination for first class fine dining experience and top venue for meetings, parties and weddings.
Located in the North of Bandung and surrounded by lush greenery and cool climate, Gedong Putih will display new standards in terms of culinary experience and service.
Distinctive architecture and interior will set the stage for three International restaurants that will serve Western, Thai and Japanese cuisine, while multi function halls and a 'green' outdoor venue, capable of handling over 1000 persons, will complement its facilities.
To strengthen it's various departments, Gedong Putih is presently looking for the following highly motivated and experienced staff:
SOUS CHEF
Responsibilities:
Supervise and coordinate the activities of Chefs & all other employee who work in kitchen
Perform the Executive Chef duties in his or her absence
Manage the kitchen operation such as keep control of all internal food stock & turnover
Motivate the staff through briefing & training to aware in applying cleanliness & energy cost
Requirements:
Has an experience at least 2 years at the same position; max. age 35
Knowledge of Japanese and/or Thai cuisine will be a plus
Good spoken & written English
Able to cook creative and appealing fine dining dishes
Ensuring high quality & consistent to presentation standards
Meticulous food hygiene & safe working environment

Responsibilities:
Prepare food items as per restaurants standard
Check daily food commodity orders & requisition
Ensure a high level of hygiene is maintained at working area at all time
Prepare mise en place to ensure a smooth operation
Check food items rotation to ensure freshness of all products
Requirements:
Experience at least 2 years at the same position
Knowledge of Japanese and/or Thai cuisine will be a plus
Good spoken & written English
Ensuring high quality & consistent to presentation standards
Applicant must be at least 18 years of age
Meticulous food hygiene and safe working environment
